Main activities:

− development of methods for measuring exposure to physical hazards at work and in the communal environments: noise, infrasonic and ultrasonic noise, hand-arm transmitted and whole-body vibration,
assessment of exposure to physical hazards,
− hygienic assessment of appliances which could be the source of physical hazards,
− expertise and advisory service to governmental agencies with respect to health protection against exposure to physical hazards,
− studies on biological and health effects of exposure to physical hazards in the work and general environments.
