On the 17th-20th June 2012 in Stockholm XLVIII Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology Eurotox 2012 was held. Its subject included the issues in the field of: epigenetics for toxicology, chemical safety assessment, risk assessment of combined exposures to multiple chemicals, new challenges in modelling human exposure to chemicals as well as nanotoxicology and safe management of nanomaterials. During the Congress prof. Konrad Rydzyński, MD, PhD presented the posters entitled: “Protective effect of selected plant compounds on DNA damage included by PAHs’ ingestion” and “The Polish Society of Toxicology”.
