General provisions

The owner of this web page (hereinafter referred to as the “Webpage” or the “Website”) and the Administrator of the data collected through our Webpage is Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź, ul. św. Teresy od Dzieciątka Jezus 8, 91-348 Łódź. Data protection is carried out in accordance with the generally applicable regulations and it is stored on protected servers.

For better understanding of Privacy Policy the term „User” has been substituted with personal pronoun „You”, and the term „Administrator” – „We”. The term „GDPR” means Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) No 2016/679  of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data as well as the repealing of Directive 95/46 / EC.

We respect the right to privacy and take care of the data security.

Personal data

Privacy protection in the Internet is of utmost concern to us, therefore we ensure the safety of your personal data provided while using the institutional website.

We particularly respect the privacy of each individual who visits our website.

Any information concerning you will be collected only for statistical reasons, such as counter of visitors. We realize the above mentioned purposes by the adequate usage and protection of data.

We ensure data security provided by our Users by using measures of physical, and organizational protection as well as software- and hardware controllers necessary for providing security of the processed personal data. We provide technical means to prevent from obtaining and modification of personal data sent electronically by unauthorized persons.

We do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data for the purposes listed  below on the basis of legally justified interests of the Administrator, which involve:

  • monitoring of your activity on our webpage,
  • adjusting the content to your settings on the basis of previously visited content of the webpage, but first and foremost articles which are of interest to you,
  • providing statistics,
  • data storage for archival purposes and providing  accountability (demonstrating compliance with obligations arising from the legal provisions).

Personal data is processed:
  • in accordance with the regulations concerning General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
  • in accordance with the implemented Book of Procedures.

Each person, whose data concerns has the right to access, rectify, remove, or limit the processing; the right to object and to make a complaint to the supervising authority, which is the President of the Data Protection Authority.

Please be informed that we have the right to share your personal data and other collected information to entities authorized on basis of relevant legal regulations (e.g. law enforcement authorities).

Personal data can be erased due to the authorization cancellation or due to lodging a legitimate objection to the processing of personal data.

We do not share your personal data to other entities than the authorized ones on basis of relevant legal regulations.

We have implemented pseudonymization and data encryption. We have introduced the access control thanks to which we minimalize the effects the possible data security breach.

Personal data is processed only by authorized persons or persons we work with closely.

Cookies

Our Website www.imp.lodz.pl uses cookies, small text files sent by server www. and stored by the web browser on your computer. When the browser connects the webpage again, the website recognizes user’s device. Data stored there can only be read thanks to parameters and only by the server which created them. Cookies make it easier to use the previously visited websites.
 
Data stored concern the IP address, type of used web browser, language, operating system, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and information about time, date and location.

The data collected are used for monitoring and checking how users use our Website, to improve the functionality of the service by providing more effective and easier site navigation. We monitor information about users using Google Analytics which registers user’s conduct on the webpage.

Cookies identify the user what enables adjusting the content of the Website to the user’s needs. By remembering the settings, they enable to adjust the right ads to the users.  We use cookies to ensure the best service and the collected data is used by us only in order to optimize the activities.

  • delete cookies,

  • accept cookies by default,
  • keep cookies and webpage data by default until the browser is closed,
  • define exceptions for cookies from particular websites and domains.

From the top right menu of the browser choose: Tools> Internet  options > Privacy, the Website button. Use the slide control to adjust the level and accept the change by clicking the OK button.

Mozilla Firefox
From the menu of the browser choose: Tools > Options > Privacy. Activate the „Program Firefox” box: „will use the user settings”. To set your preferences regarding cookies select or deselect an entry „Accept cookies”.

Opera
From the menu of the browser choose: Tools > Preferences > Advanced. To set your preferences regarding cookies please select or deselect an entry „Cookies”.

Safari
From the drop-down menu choose Preferences and click the “Safety” icon. Here, you can choose the level of security within ,,Accept cookies” area.
