On the 5th of July 2012 during the formal meeting of Scientific Council of the State Institute of Occupational Health of National Academy of Medical Sciences in Kiev, the director of the Institute, prof. Yurij Illich Kundijev gave prof. Konrad Rydzyński, the director general of the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź, a diploma of an honorary member of National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine in the field of toxicology. Professor Rydzyński when thanking for the distinction recalled the long-standing cooperation between the institutes and expressed hope for its continuation. Then he presented the most significant scientific and application achievements of the Nofer Institue of Occupational Medicine in Łódź.
