As part of a two years’ agreement on cooperation between the WHO’s European Regional Office and the Ministry of Health for the years 2012-2013 a project: Non-communicable diseases, promotion of health and healthy lifestyle has been realized. Within the task a report entitled ‘Assessment and recommendations for strengthening  the management role and attitude of the Ministry of Health in activities related to the improvement of workplace health promotion in Poland’ was prepared. The report emphasizes the role of workplace health promotion in the universal health care system.
