On the 5th of December 2016, Scientific Council of NIOM gave a positive opinion on the draft of the Open Access Policy of the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Lodz. The Open Mandate will apply in the case of scientific resources of NIOM from the year 2017.
The developed in the Institute document is compliant with the directions of development of open access to publications and scientific research results funded from public financial resources, and recommended by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Recommendations for Polish research units concerning introduction of open access to publications and scientific research results is a response to the European Commission Recommendations as of July 17, 2012 on open access to scientific information.
