We are pleased to announce that the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, by order of 9 May 2019 awarded Beata Pepłońska, PhD, Professor of NIOM, the academic title of professor of medical sciences.
Since 1993, Professor Beata Pepłońska has been working in the Department of Environmental Epidemiology at the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine. Since 2002, she has been the Head of the Epidemiology Unit.
From the very beginning, she has been interested in the field of environmental epidemiology. She is involved in the study of the etiology of malignant breast cancer including occupational, environmental, and genetic factors.
