Abstract

The presented software, based on the superposition method, is used to calculate the distribution of electromagnetic field (EMF) within the frequency range of 30 MHzś4GHz for a fixed set of observation points located in the neighborhood of antenna systems and to visualize the results of calculations according to regulations on the environmental protection and occupational health and safety currently binding in Poland. A brief characteristic of the electromagnetic field around transmitters, objectives and methods used in EMF distribution modeling, especially with use of the superposition method are presented. Requirements to meet current Polish regulations on the environmental protection in terms of the human protection against nonionizing electromagnetic radiation as well as examples of calculations of EMF distribution around the transmitter with defined parameters are also discussed.
