The author discusses currently required norms concerning the concentration of air-ions and the possibility of complementing the deficit of these particles with the help of ionisers. The study shows that the required ionization norms are overstated, therefore, and as a result achieving their optimal levels is very difficult albeit possible. Med Pr 2010;61(2):241-251
