One of the main tasks of Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź is research activity aiming at improvement of people’s quality of life and health. Care of the highest standard of research is inextricably linked with responsibility for all taken actions and striving for their performance in compliance with superior ethical values.

We encourage to get familiar with the article entitled ‘Danish Neuroscientist Challenges Fraud Findings' which was published in ‘Nature’ journal. The article concerns the issue of charges and consequences that the authors may face if they carry out or document their research inappropriately.

Another article worth paying attention to is Evaluation Criteria for Publishing in Top-Tier Journals in Environmental Health Sciences and Toxicology’ published in ‘Environmental Health Perspectives’ periodical. The article puts emphasis on how to prepare a publication (discusses the structure, subject, innovative aspect, ethics and language) so as to minimize the risk of being rejected by editorial staff of the reviewed journals and to simultaneously ensure dissemination of our scientific research and its results.

We also recommend 'Guideline For Good Clinical Practice' where, as the title indicates, you can find detailed information on Good Clinical Practice including a chapter devoted to the Independent Ethics Committee.
