In 2005 the Laboratory was given accreditation  by the Polish Accreditation Center to calibration of dosimetric devices in the fields of radiation X (15-208 kV), gamma (Co-60, Cs-137) and radon. Under the accreditation granted the Secondary Standards Laboratory is responsible for  calibration of analog and digital dosimetric devices used in radiological protection, as well as devices used in the quality control of  X-ray equipment  in dentistry, general diagnostics and mammography.
